– I’m out at happy hour, or a restaurant, and am obligated to have a drink. What should I have and what should I avoid? Short Answer: Stay away from mixed drinks with sweet mixers. Most alcohols don’t have that much, or any sugar in it at all. Bitter beers, dry wines, and spirits have very to none. Stay away from honey ale beers, sweet wines, or liqueurs though. Also, the alcohol doesn’t turn into sugar, but it’s really the alcohol’s metabolism that prevents the liver’s release of blood sugar-regulating hormones. You’re generally o.k. with a couple of beers, wine, or spirits, but of course have it in moderation.
– What can I eat when I go to the movies? Is Popcorn o.k.?
– Fruit has sugar, is that o.k. to have?
– What’s the difference in sugars ? The more brown or natural it is, the better it is right? Organic cane sugar has to be good, right?
– Are all protein shakes and nutrition bars healthy? No, some are actually like milk shakes.

Also, and most importantly, there are a of misinformed people out there constantly pushing bad food on you. These people going to be your friends, family, and co-workers.
We’ll definitely get into the science, facts, and reasoning behind everything, but we first what we want to give you something that’s ready-to-use in these real-world scenarios that come at you fast.
Additionally, we’ll give you variety of recipes ranging from snacks you can make in a few minutes and take on the go, quick “bachelor style” plates, to full on dinners that need a bit more prep time.
